Hiriya School is a new government school opened on 14th June 2009, with a student population of approximately 700 students; the school caters for grades 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 9 and 10.
Hiriya School is the second secondary government girls’ school in Male. The school was officially opened on 15th September 2009 by His Excellency President Mohamed Nasheed.
